Filmmaker journey

I was primarily inspired and influenced by top Nepali travel filmmakers. Before delving into filmmaking, I used to capture moments through photography, mainly focusing on models and wedding events. It was a friend who introduced me to the captivating world of filmmaking, for which I am immensely grateful. As an aspiring photographer, documentary filmmaker, short movie video maker, and photographer, I take pride in my multifaceted journey in the world of visual storytelling. In my early years as a photographer, I vividly recall my first foray into capturing images at the tender age of seven. It was during a family vacation when my parents purchased a miniature camera for me, costing just a few dollars. This tiny camera utilized miniature film, producing small black and white pictures. Although I have a faint memory of snapping those photos, I can't quite recall their subjects, and perhaps for good reason – I was still learning the ropes, and I'm certain they weren't anything remarkable.

Reflecting on the advice of seasoned photographers, I've learned the importance of studying the work of others to enhance my own skills. I make a conscious effort to immerse myself in the work of fellow photographers regularly. Recently, I've noticed a commonality among the photographs that resonate with me the most – they possess a distinct point of interest. Observing how these photographers choose to capture their subjects has been invaluable in honing my own approach. Now, when I'm out in the field seeking the perfect shot, I draw upon these insights to craft images that reflect my unique perspective.
